Today I was up before the sun, so I could attend church in Tempe with the folks at Southwest Bible Fellowship - it was well worth the trip, as the teaching was wonderful and the saints endearing. I met some new folks and reconnected with folks I'd known before, too. Such fun!
After church, it was time to get back on the road and make my way to Pasadena to spend some time with my sister-in-law-in-law Martha, her husband Zach and the happiest, cutest, giggliest little guy around, Augie! He showed me most of his toys, a lot of his books and we made several loops around the house in a good game of chase. Just give him something to push and he's off like a shot!
Unfortunately, I don't have pics, as it was all about the fellowshiping and driving today (although I expect I may have one coming from one of the folks at SBF to share later on).
Dinner's on and I'm hungry, so I'm cutting this one short so I can eat and visit.

What a fun trip you are having! And this is the perfect time to be in warmer climes....
ReplyDeleteYes - it was raining when I arrived in Pasadena, but was clear and sunny and up around 74 degrees today. Definitely prefereable to gray, cold and rainy Seattle!
